What you will need:

Faux leather (1/2 a yard is plenty)

Suede lace cord (1 – 1 1/2 yard)

Paper (standard letter / card stock)

Needle and Thread

1. Fold the paper in half and use that to measure how much leather you’ll need. Remember to leave a little excess material in the back so it can overlap the front.

2. Sew the pages to the leather, tying knots at the beginning and the end of the thread – be careful not to poke yourself with the needle!

3. Cut two slits in the excess material (overlap) and string the suede lace cord through.
